Archivist services
When a company is being liquidated, a liquidation commission is responsible for mandatory document evaluation and transfer of documents subject to compulsory storage to relevant archives as prescribed by law. Transfer of documents is evidenced with an acceptance act which is kept by a liquidation commission. Documents for temporary storage are subject to destruction complying with all formalities provided by law.
Archive ordering is a necessary procedure even for those companies which are in active operation and development. Large amount of documents usually accumulated in the course of work year by year occupy increasingly more space. From time to time there appears a necessity to bring archive to order and to liquidate unnecessary and overage documents. Archive liquidation upon expiration of document storage period is carried out, as a rule, step-wise depending on terms prescribed by law for storage of documents, which range from 1 to 75 years.
It is worth keeping in mind that there is more in liquidation of an archive than meets the eye. Documents that may seem absolutely useless may be of great importance during any subsequent inspection by supervising authorities. Their absence or absence of their destruction certificates may be a reason for both material and administrative responsibility by the company officers.
