Registration of branches

Any company in the course of its development often faces a necessity to expand its organizational structure. As a rule, it is connected with a necessity to perform any representative, trade-and-production or any other functions assigned to them by the company in other geographic areas: cities, districts, regions. In this very case, it is feasible to open a branch.

Pursuant to the law of Ukraine, a branch is a detached division of a legal entity, which is located apart from the legal entity’s location and performs its functions, fully or partially. A branch is not a legal entity. A branch is provided with the property of the legal entity which established the branch, and operates based on provisions approved by it. Heads of branches are appointed by the legal entity and act under a power of attorney issued to them.

Information of branches of a legal entity is subject to inclusion to the unified state register.
