Liquidation of the financial institutions

As provided with the law of Ukraine, a financial institution is a legal entity which provides, pursuant to the law, one or more financial services, or any other services (transactions) related to financial services in cases expressly stipulated by law, and which is included to the relevant register in accordance with the procedure established by law.

Financial institutions are liquidated as prescribed by law, with the consideration of requirements set forth in the applicable law of Ukraine and regulations of governmental authorities in charge for regulating operation of financial institutions and financial service markets.

Entry to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Natural Persons-Entrepreneurs on state registration of terminated legal entity operating as a financial institution is made based on an extract on its exclusion from the state register of financial institutions, which is drawn up according to a template established by the relevant authority of state regulation for financial service markets, and based on other documents, the list of which is prescribed by law for state registration of legal entities.
