Registration of a loan agreements

Applicable law of Ukraine currently provides for a possibility for residents (legal entities, individuals or natural persons-entrepreneurs) to get credit resources (credits, loans, reimbursable financial assistance) from non-resident creditors.

Agreements evidencing credit relations with non-resident creditors in foreign exchange are subject to mandatory registration with the National Bank of Ukraine through issue of a registration certificate.

A resident borrower must register the loan agreement with the National Bank of Ukraine prior to actual receipt of funds.
